Genuine Replacement Lamp for Toshiba Projectors

The Toshiba TLP-4 is a new 150W projector lamp module that includes a fully assembled UHP bulb and housing. It is designed for owners of compatible Toshiba projectors who need a ready-to-install replacement when the original lamp reaches end of life. Buyers who require a higher wattage or a different lamp form factor should look elsewhere.

Thermals Noise and Power Draw

The lamp operates at a rated 150W, which determines its power consumption and heat output during normal projection. Acoustic performance depends on the projector's own cooling system rather than the lamp module itself. No separate fan or cooling specifications are provided for this lamp unit.

Rated Lamp Life of 2000 Hours

The manufacturer specifies a lamp life of 2000 hours under standard operating conditions. This figure is the primary metric for planning replacement intervals and estimating long-term ownership cost. Actual runtime will vary with projector usage patterns and environmental factors.

Questions about this item

How do I install the TLP-4 lamp module and what step is often missed?

The module arrives fully assembled with bulb and housing. Power off the projector, let it cool, remove the old lamp cage, insert the new module until it clicks, then reset the lamp timer in the menu — skipping the timer reset is the common error.

What maintenance or replacement will the 150W UHP lamp need after 2,000 hours of use?

At 2,000 hours the lamp reaches its rated life and must be replaced with a new TLP-4 module; no user-serviceable parts exist inside the sealed housing.

What is the first limit that appears during sustained operation of the 150W lamp?

The 2,000-hour rated lamp life is the primary limit; brightness will gradually decline until the projector indicates replacement is required.
