What this lamp replaces

This is a genuine compatible replacement lamp for the Toshiba TLP-450U projector. It arrives as a fully assembled 150W UHP bulb inside its housing, ready for immediate installation. The module is built to ISO9001 quality standards using OEM or equivalent components. It restores original brightness and colour performance for classrooms, meeting rooms or home cinema setups.

Check your projector model and hours

Confirm that your projector is the Toshiba TLP-450U before ordering. The lamp is rated for 2000 hours of typical use, so note the current hour counter on your unit to plan the swap. No tools are required beyond what the projector manufacturer specifies for lamp access. Ensure the projector is cooled and unplugged before starting the replacement.

Simple swap restores image quality

The pre-assembled housing means you do not handle the bare bulb, reducing the risk of contamination or misalignment. Once fitted, the lamp delivers the specified 150W output without additional calibration. It frees you from dimming images and recurring warning messages. The module is covered by a 90-day warranty from the supplier.

Questions about this item

Does the TLP-450U lamp ship as a complete housing or is the bare bulb sold separately?

The lamp arrives as a fully assembled module with the 150W UHP bulb already mounted in its housing, so no extra parts are needed for installation.

What is the difference between the OEM and compatible versions of the TLP-450U lamp?

Three OEM variants come from the original bulb maker, from Toshiba, or from another OEM supplier; the compatible version uses genuine OEM parts from a leading third-party manufacturer.

How long will the 2000-hour lamp last in typical use?

The lamp is rated for 2000 hours of operation; actual runtime depends on projector settings and environmental conditions.
