Genuine Toshiba TLPLB2 replacement lamp

The Toshiba TLPLB2 is a new projector lamp module that ships as a fully assembled 120W UHP bulb inside its housing. It is designed for owners of compatible Toshiba projectors who need a direct, ready-to-install replacement when the original lamp reaches end of life.

Replaces a spent original lamp

This module replaces the factory lamp that shipped with the projector, restoring rated brightness and colour performance. The upgrade is worth it when the existing lamp has dimmed noticeably, shows flickering, or has logged roughly 2,000 hours of use and the projector warns that replacement is due.

Fits the projector's existing lamp compartment

The assembled housing slides into the same compartment without tools or adapter parts, so the projector's cooling and power circuits remain unchanged. Installation frees the user from handling a bare bulb and avoids the alignment issues that can arise with bare-lamp swaps.

Questions about this item

What projector models accept the TLPLB2 lamp module?

The TLPLB2 module fits Toshiba projectors designed for this specific lamp assembly; check your projector manual for the TLPLB2 part number before ordering.

Which step is often missed when installing the TLPLB2 lamp housing?

After seating the new housing, reset the projector's lamp-hour counter through the menu so the 2,000-hour timer starts from zero.

When should the TLPLB2 lamp be replaced?

Plan replacement around 2,000 hours of use or when brightness drops noticeably; the module uses a 120W UHP bulb that dims over time.
