Total Micro Technologies 330-4342-TM 240 W ac adapter

What this adapter powers

The Total Micro Technologies 330-4342-TM is a 240 W AC adapter built for Dell Alienware M17x, M17xR3 and M18x notebooks plus Precision M6500 and M6600 mobile workstations. It supplies the full rated power those systems expect from the factory charger.

Replacing a lost or failed brick

When the original adapter is missing, damaged or no longer holds a steady voltage under load, this unit restores full charging speed and system performance. The jump is worth it if the laptop currently throttles or refuses to charge because the old brick cannot deliver 240 W.

Sustained output behaviour

Under continuous load the adapter maintains its rated 240 W without dropping voltage, so the notebook can run CPU and GPU at maximum clocks while the battery charges. It is not for ultrabooks or lower-wattage Dell models that require a smaller power profile.
