Total Micro Technologies 6GTPY-TM 6-Cell 97Whr laptop battery

6-Cell 97Whr Dell Replacement Battery

The Total Micro Technologies 6GTPY-TM is a new 6-cell lithium-ion battery rated at 97Whr. It is built as a direct replacement for the original power pack in several Dell mobile workstations and premium consumer laptops. Compatible models include the Precision 5520, 5530, 5540, XPS 15 9560, 9570 and 7590, Vostro 7500, Inspiron 7501 and G Series G7 7700. Installing this unit restores full mobile runtime without modifying the chassis.

Replaces Worn or Failed Factory Packs

This battery replaces the original Dell cell when it no longer holds a useful charge or has swollen. The jump is worth it when the laptop shuts down early, reports a permanent capacity loss or shows a service-battery warning in the BIOS. Because the form factor and connector match the factory design, the swap requires only a screwdriver and a few minutes of downtime. It does not add capacity beyond the original 97Whr specification.

Limited to Listed Dell 15-Inch Platforms

The pack fits only the Dell models listed in the compatibility data; it will not seat or connect in other Precision, XPS, Vostro, Inspiron or G Series chassis. It cannot be used in smaller ultraportables, larger 17-inch workstations or any non-Dell hardware. Buyers who need power for a different laptop family must source a battery engineered for that specific platform.
