Installation and Common Issues

Installation is straightforward: connect the USB-C plug into the MacBook charging port and the adapter into a mains socket. The most frequent issue is attempting to use the adapter with devices that require a different voltage or power profile, which will prevent charging. Ensure the MacBook model appears in the supported list before use.

Capacity and Headroom

The adapter delivers a maximum output of 96W at 5V DC, providing sufficient headroom for the 16-inch MacBook Pro under heavy workloads while also charging smaller models such as the 12-inch Retina or 13-inch Air at their required rates. It will not supply enough power for devices that demand more than 96W or operate on a different voltage standard.
