TOTU

TOTU Dynamic Microphone USB/XLR Cardioid 50Hz-14KHz 110dB SPL 95dB SNR 3.5mm Jack

SKU CH-CXJS-PG1YY

Dynamic microphone with USB and XLR outputs, cardioid pattern, 50Hz-14KHz response, 110dB SPL, 95dB SNR, 3.5mm headphone jack, mute and volume controls

  • Warm, balanced vocals from a 50Hz–14KHz frequency response
  • Clean recordings with 95dB signal-to-noise ratio and built-in noise reduction
  • Handles loud sources up to 110dB SPL without distortion
  • USB plug-and-play plus XLR analog output for flexible setups
  • Real-time monitoring via 3.5mm headphone jack with volume and mute controls

Dynamic Microphone USB XLR

The TOTU dynamic microphone connects via USB or XLR for podcasting, recording, streaming and gaming. A cardioid pattern rejects off-axis sound while a 95 dB signal-to-noise ratio keeps the noise floor low. The zinc-alloy shell resists corrosion for long-term desktop use.

Thermals Noise Power

Passive operation means no fan noise and zero added heat in normal use. The dynamic capsule handles up to 110 dB SPL without distortion, so loud vocals stay clean. USB power draws only the standard bus current, keeping system load minimal.

Frequency Response 50Hz 14KHz

The capsule covers 50 Hz to 14 kHz, tuned for spoken word and vocal presence. Builders who need extended high-frequency detail above 14 kHz for instrument capture should choose a different microphone. The 3.5 mm jack provides real-time monitoring with volume and mute controls.

Questions about this item

How do I switch the volume buttons between microphone gain and headphone monitoring on this USB/XLR microphone?

In USB mode, press and hold the mute button to toggle whether the plus and minus keys adjust mic gain or the 3.5 mm headphone output level.

Does the cardioid capsule or the 3.5 mm monitoring jack need any periodic maintenance?

The dynamic capsule has no phantom-power components to wear out, and the 3.5 mm jack only needs occasional dust removal; no scheduled replacement parts are required.

At what sound-pressure level does the 110 dB SPL limit cause audible distortion during loud vocals?

The capsule handles up to 110 dB SPL before clipping, so typical close-miked singing or shouting stays clean unless you exceed that threshold.
