The Archer AX72 Pro delivers AX5400 wireless speeds across 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands using Wi-Fi 6. It targets households that stream 8K video, game online and run dozens of smart devices simultaneously. A 2.5 Gbps WAN/LAN port removes the 1 Gbps bottleneck from multi-gig internet plans. Three additional gigabit LAN ports serve wired clients such as PCs, consoles or NAS units.

USB 3.0 port and HomeShield security

The single USB 3.0 port enables network-attached storage or media sharing without a separate server. HomeShield provides subscription-based network and IoT protection including intrusion prevention and parental controls. VPN support covers OpenVPN, PPTP and L2TP for remote access. The Tether app handles setup and ongoing management from a phone.
