Quad-band WiFi 6E router reaching 15.6 Gbps with two 10 Gbps ports, a 2.5 Gbps port, four Gigabit LAN ports and eight antennas
The TP-Link Archer AXE300 is a quad-band wireless router built for households and small offices that need maximum concurrent throughput across the 2.4 GHz, two 5 GHz and the new 6 GHz bands. It targets users who run multiple high-bandwidth streams such as 4K video, cloud gaming and large file transfers simultaneously.
Moving to this router makes sense when a dual-band or tri-band device can no longer keep separate 5 GHz channels for gaming and streaming while also serving legacy 2.4 GHz clients. The jump is worth it when the ISP link exceeds 2.5 Gbps or when a 10 Gbps NAS or fibre uplink can use the dual 10G ports for LAN-side throughput.
The 6 GHz band requires Wi-Fi 6E client radios to deliver its near-zero latency and extra bandwidth; older devices remain on 5 GHz or 2.4 GHz. The two 10 Gbps WAN/LAN ports and the single 2.5 Gbps WAN/LAN port cannot all operate as WAN at the same time, so only one ultra-fast internet connection is supported.
