Adds Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 to a desktop PC via PCI Express with tri-band 6.5 Gbps speeds and two high-gain antennas
The Archer TBE400E adds BE6500 Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 to a desktop through a PCI Express slot. It targets builders who need tri-band 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz connectivity on Windows 11 64-bit systems. The card delivers up to 6.5 Gbps aggregate wireless data rates across three bands. It suits users upgrading from older Wi-Fi standards who want the latest security and speed.
The adapter fits a standard PCI Express slot and includes both a full-height and a low-profile bracket for mini-tower cases. Two high-performance tri-band antennas attach to the rear panel for wider signal coverage. A Bluetooth header cable connects the onboard Bluetooth 5.4 controller to an internal USB header on the motherboard. No external power connector is required beyond the slot itself.
The card splits its 6.5 Gbps ceiling into 2882 Mbps on 6 GHz, 2882 Mbps on 5 GHz and 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. WPA3 encryption secures traffic on all bands while OFDMA and MU-MIMO reduce lag on busy networks. Bluetooth 5.4 improves reliability over Bluetooth 5.3 for peripherals. Buyers who need more than two spatial streams or support for operating systems other than Windows 11 64-bit should look elsewhere.

The adapter is rated for continuous operation up to 40 °C; sustained heavy loads that push the card beyond this temperature can reduce throughput before the 6.5 Gbps ceiling is reached.
The card has no onboard fan; heat is dissipated passively through the PCB and the two external antennas, so acoustic output remains that of the host system.
Yes, the package supplies both a standard bracket and a low-profile bracket, so the card installs in either full-size or mini-tower cases.
