Smart curtain robot for U and I rails
This TP-LINK Bluetooth curtain robot in white automates existing curtains on mainstream U-bar and I-bar tracks. It suits homeowners who want app, voice or remote control without replacing their current rail system. The unit supports one-way or two-way opening configurations depending on how many robots are installed.
Bluetooth control requires a separate gateway
Direct phone pairing only works within local Bluetooth range. For remote operation, voice assistants such as Alexa or Google Home, and IFTTT automation, a compatible Bluetooth gateway must be added. The device does not work with Hubitat and runs on three AA batteries which are not supplied.
Replaces manual pull cords on compatible tracks
It upgrades standard curtains that currently open and close by hand, provided the rail diameter stays constant. Adjustable rods with changing diameters are not supported. Roman rods need extra accessories sold separately. Calibration demands repeated adjustments so buyers should be prepared for a patient setup process.

Questions about this item
Should I get one or two robots for my curtains?
One robot handles a single-panel curtain; two robots are needed for a pair that opens from the centre.
How far will the robot travel along a 72-inch track?
The unit is built for a 72-inch rail, so it will traverse the full length of that track.
Does the Bluetooth connection let me control the curtain from my phone anywhere?
Bluetooth alone works only in local range; a separate Bluetooth gateway is required for remote access and voice assistants.
