Outdoor dimmer with remote
The TP-LINK IT102 smart dimmer plug controls outdoor string lights, landscape lighting and holiday decorations. It connects to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and works with the DEWENWILS app, the included handheld remote, or voice assistants. The unit is built with a flame-resistant PC housing and SJTW 14/3C wire for weather-resistant operation.
200 W dimmable LED / 400 W tungsten limit
The single specification that decides compatibility is the load rating: the dimmer supports up to 200 W of dimmable LED bulbs or 400 W of tungsten bulbs. Exceeding either figure will cause the device to shut down or fail. Only dimmable lamps should be connected; non-dimmable loads are not supported.
Sustained outdoor operation
Under continuous load the sturdy housing and heavy-duty cable dissipate heat while resisting rain, sunlight and humidity. The 100 ft remote range remains stable during extended use, and scheduled automation runs reliably day after day without thermal throttling or signal degradation.

Questions about this item
How bright will my lights get when the app slider hits 100%?
The dimmer drives dimmable LEDs up to 200 W and tungsten bulbs up to 400 W, so at 100 % you get full rated output from whatever compatible string or landscape lights you have plugged in.
Does the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connection limit which routers or voice assistants I can use?
It connects only to a 2.4 GHz network, but once linked the DEWENWILS app works with both Alexa and Google Assistant for voice dimming from 1 % to 100 %.
What do I need on the wall or post to mount this dimmer safely outdoors?
The unit has a sturdy PC housing with an SJTW 14/3C cord, so you simply plug it into a grounded outdoor outlet — no extra brackets or hardware are required.
