Single-unit mesh Wi-Fi 7 node

The Deco BE23 is a standalone mesh router that brings Wi-Fi 7 dual-band performance to homes up to 2,500 sq. ft. It targets households wanting multi-gigabit wireless speeds without committing to a multi-pack, and can be expanded later with additional Deco units.

Dual-band Wi-Fi 7 limits

The system operates on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz only, delivering up to 688 Mbps and 2882 Mbps respectively, with 160 MHz channel support on 5 GHz. There is no 6 GHz radio, so devices that require the newest band cannot use it, and peak throughput stays at the BE3600 class.

Internal antennas and dual 2.5G ports

Four high-gain internal antennas form a directional array inside a 150 × 150 × 62 mm white housing that sits on a shelf or mounts discreetly. Two 2.5 Gbps Ethernet ports per unit handle WAN or LAN with auto-sensing, enabling wired backhaul or fast wired clients without a separate switch.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 1-pack, 2-pack or 3-pack for my home size?

The 1-pack covers up to 2,500 sq. ft.; the 2-pack and 3-pack extend coverage further by adding identical units that mesh together.

What does the BE3600 rating mean for my actual 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz speeds?

BE3600 splits into 2882 Mbps on 5 GHz and 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz; real-world throughput will be lower due to overhead and client capabilities.

How do the 2.5 Gbps ports and 160 MHz channels affect my wired and wireless limits?

Each unit has two 2.5 Gbps WAN/LAN ports, capping wired backhaul at 2.5 Gbps; 160 MHz channels enable the quoted 5 GHz rate but require compatible clients.
