Whole-home Wi-Fi 6 system

The Deco X15 two-pack delivers AX1500 dual-band coverage across 3,800 sq. ft. Each unit includes two Gigabit ports with WAN/LAN auto-sensing for wired backhaul or device connections. The system targets households replacing a standalone router and extender with a single mesh managed through the Deco app on Android 5.0 or iOS 9.0 and later.

Sustained load behaviour

OFDMA and MU-MIMO allow simultaneous transmission to multiple clients, keeping throughput stable when many devices are active. Beamforming focuses signal strength toward connected devices to maintain range under load. The SPI firewall and access control enforce security without adding measurable latency during extended sessions.

Thermals noise and power

Internal antenna arrays eliminate moving parts, so the units run silently in normal use. Operating temperature is rated 0 to 40 °C (32 to 104 °F). The compact 4.33 × 4.33 × 4.49 in chassis dissipates heat passively, and the white finish blends into living spaces without drawing attention.

Questions about this item

How much power does each Deco X15 unit draw when running 24/7?

The spec sheet lists an operating range of 0–40 °C (32–104 °F) but does not publish a wattage figure for continuous use.

What broadband modem or ONT do I need so the Deco X15 can handle the WAN connection?

Any modem or ONT with a Gigabit Ethernet port works; each Deco unit has two Gigabit ports that auto-sense WAN or LAN.

Will my older 802.11n devices still connect reliably to the Deco X15 mesh?

Yes, the system supports IEEE 802.11n on the 2.4 GHz band at up to 300 Mbps alongside Wi-Fi 6 clients.
