Delivers dual-band Wi-Fi 6 speeds up to 3550 Mbps with 8 spatial streams, a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port and PoE+ power, plus mesh and seamless roaming for high-density deployments
The TP-Link EAP660 HD is a dual-band wireless access point built for environments with many simultaneous users. It delivers combined Wi-Fi 6 speeds up to 3550 Mbps using 8 spatial streams, 1024 QAM and Long OFDM Symbol technologies. OFDMA and MU-MIMO increase network capacity by up to four times compared to Wi-Fi 5, making it suitable for offices, schools or venues where dozens of devices connect at once.
A single 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port handles both data and 802.3at PoE+ power, so no separate mains wiring is required. The port supports multi-gigabit throughput to match the wireless performance. Built-in mesh functionality lets the unit extend coverage wirelessly to other compatible EAPs, reducing cable runs in difficult locations. Seamless roaming automatically moves clients to the strongest signal, keeping latency-sensitive applications such as VoIP and video conferencing stable while users move around.
This access point is designed for the Omada Software Defined Networking platform. Before ordering, confirm whether you will manage it through an Omada Hardware Controller, the Omada Software Controller or the Omada cloud-based controller. Standalone mode is also available if no controller is deployed. Ensure your network infrastructure can provide 802.3at PoE+ power on the switch port or injector you plan to use.

Log into the Omada controller or app, check the client list for connected devices showing 1024 QAM and 8 spatial streams, and run a local throughput test between a Wi-Fi 6 client and a wired endpoint on the 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port.
The access point ships with mounting hardware and a quick installation guide; a 802.3 at PoE+ injector or PoE+ switch is required separately to power the unit over the 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port.
Choose the EAP660 HD because its Wi-Fi 6 OFDMA and uplink/downlink MU-MIMO increase capacity by up to 4× versus Wi-Fi 5, supporting far more simultaneous devices in dense deployments.
