Tri-band WiFi 7 access point delivering 10.40 Gbit/s across 2.40, 5 and 6 GHz bands with a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port and PoE power
The TP-Link Omada EAP772 is a ceiling or wall mountable wireless access point that operates across 2.40 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands. It supports IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be standards and delivers aggregate wireless rates up to 11 Gbps. A single 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 port provides the wired backhaul connection. The unit draws 22.57 W and is powered via PoE.
This access point suits offices, schools or venues that require Multi-Link Operation and centralised cloud management through the Omada platform. Mesh technology extends coverage without extra cabling. Buyers who need multiple wired uplinks, desktop form factors or standalone operation without a controller should look at other product lines.
The single 2.5G RJ-45 port sets the maximum wired backhaul speed, so the wireless aggregate of 10.40 Gbit/s can only be fully utilised when the upstream network delivers matching capacity. Sites with only 1 GbE infrastructure will see that bottleneck limit real-world performance.

The single 2.5 Gbps RJ45 port limits wired uplink throughput to 2.5 Gbps, so the 10.40 Gbps wireless ceiling is only reachable over the air.
The unit includes a mounting bracket that accepts standard ceiling tiles or wall anchors; no extra brackets are needed.
Connect the 2.5 Gbps port to a PoE switch or the supplied injector, adopt the device in the Omada controller, then enable the desired SSIDs — skipping controller adoption leaves the radios offline.
