A two-adapter kit delivers up to 1000 Mbps over mains wiring with a gigabit port and an integrated power socket
This two-unit kit uses HomePlug AV2 technology to deliver up to 1000 Mbps over existing electrical wiring. It suits households that want reliable wired links for smart TVs, desktops or games consoles without running new cables. Each adapter includes a gigabit Ethernet port and a pass-through socket so no outlet is lost. Setup is plug-and-play on Windows, Mac or Linux systems.
Rated power draw stays at 2.3 W typical and 2.7 W maximum at 220 V, dropping to 0.5 W in standby. The patented power-saving mode can cut consumption by up to 85 percent during idle periods. Operating temperature range is 0 °C to 40 °C with humidity up to 90 percent non-condensing, so performance remains stable in normal indoor conditions. All adapters must share the same electrical circuit for the link to function.
The kit provides wired Ethernet only and does not create a Wi-Fi signal. Buyers who need wireless coverage for phones or tablets must add a separate access point or choose a different product. Compatibility extends to other TP-Link AV2000, AV1300, AV1200, AV1000, AV600, AV500 and AV200 adapters on the same circuit.
