A 5-port unmanaged switch with 2.5 Gbps RJ45 ports for instant multi-gigabit wired connections
The TL-SG105S-M2 is an unmanaged desktop switch with five RJ45 ports that auto-negotiate at 100Mbps, 1Gbps or 2.5Gbps. It suits home offices, LAN parties and workstations that need more bandwidth than standard Gigabit links provide.
A fanless metal chassis keeps the switch quiet in any room while dissipating heat passively. Power consumption stays low during normal traffic, and the unmanaged Layer 2 logic requires no configuration after power-up.
The switch works immediately with Cat5e or better cables already in place, removing the need for new Cat6 runs. Desktop or wall-mount brackets are included for flexible placement, and no software installation is required.

Connect each device to one of the 5 RJ45 ports using existing cables; the step often missed is confirming every link negotiates at 2.5 Gbps instead of falling back to 1 Gbps.
The fanless, unmanaged design has no moving parts or firmware schedule, so no routine maintenance is required; only a power-cycle if a port stops passing traffic.
With no PoE and a silent fanless chassis, the thermal ceiling of the passively cooled ASIC is the first bottleneck during continuous multi-port saturation.
