Smart 16.4ft RGB LED Strip

The TP-LINK W1G-N84F is a 16.4ft Wi-Fi enabled RGB LED strip light designed for homeowners who want voice and app control over accent lighting. It suits living rooms, bedrooms or TV backlighting setups where colour changing and music synchronisation are desired. The strip is not suited for buyers who need outdoor-rated waterproofing or a hardwired installation without a plug-in power supply.

20.4W Operation With Microphone Sync

The strip draws 20.4 watts at 240 volts and includes a built-in microphone for audio-reactive effects that respond to music or ambient sound. Voice commands via Google Assistant or SmartThings adjust brightness and colour without audible hardware noise from the strip itself. The moisture-proof coating protects the LEDs from humidity during normal indoor use.

Sengled Home App With 27 Modes

The bundled Sengled Home app provides up to 27 preset modes plus custom scene creation, scheduling and dynamic audio sync for the 16.4ft length. Voice integration allows one-command control of entire rooms when linked with Google Assistant or SmartThings ecosystems. The package includes a single strip unit with adhesive backing for straightforward surface mounting.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 16.4ft LED strip and what step is often missed?

Plug in the strip, download the Sengled Home app, register an account, then follow the in-app guide to connect the lights to your Wi-Fi network.

What maintenance or replacement will the 16.4ft LED strip need later?

The strip is rated for 25,000 hours of use; after that the LEDs will gradually dim and the whole strip will need replacing.

What limit appears first during sustained use of the 20.4 watt LED strip?

Continuous operation generates heat within the moisture-proof coating, so the thermal limit of the protective barrier is reached before the 25,000-hour rating.
