Smart single-colour LED WiFi controller
The TP-LINK ZJ-MW-S controls single-colour LED strips from a smartphone using the Magic Home Pro app. It accepts DC 12-24 volt input and drives up to 5 amps output current. Compatible chip types include 5050, 2835, 3528 and several others listed in the specifications. Voice control works with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant for on/off and dimming commands.
Replaces manual inline dimmers or basic IR remotes
The jump is worth it when you want scheduling, music-sync effects or group control of several zones without running extra wiring. Timer and countdown functions automate daily routines. Music and microphone modes make the strip react to audio from the phone or the room. Multiple controllers can be grouped in the app for simultaneous switching.
Limited to single-colour strips on 2.4 GHz WiFi
The controller only manages one colour channel, so it cannot drive RGB, RGBW or addressable strips. It connects to the existing 2.4 GHz network and does not support 5 GHz bands. Maximum load is 90 watts at 12 volts, so longer or higher-power runs may need a separate amplifier. The unit is rated for dry indoor use only.
