Industrial Marking Set

This five-pack of TRADESAFE black grease pencils is built for technicians and tradespeople who need reliable marking on metal, drywall, glass, concrete, wood and other porous or non-porous surfaces. The wax-based cores deliver bold, legible lines in dry or slightly damp conditions without the hassle of sharpening. Each pencil uses a pull-string peel mechanism to expose fresh wax instantly. The rounded barrels provide a secure grip for extended use on job sites or in workshops.

Sustained Job-Site Performance

The durable wax formulation resists snapping and brittleness during heavy daily use, maintaining consistent mark quality across long shifts. Marks remain smudge-resistant and moisture-resistant on challenging surfaces, yet wipe clean from non-porous materials with a dry cloth leaving no residue. The peel-string design eliminates downtime spent searching for sharpeners or dealing with broken tips. This construction supports continuous marking workflows in commercial and industrial environments.

Surface Compatibility Limits

These pencils perform across a wide range of materials including metal, porcelain, vinyl, fabric, plastics, rubber, film and paper. They do not work well on silicone surfaces, which repel the wax-based formulation. The markings endure tough conditions on approved substrates but can be removed cleanly from non-porous finishes when needed. The set measures 1.7018 L x 7.5946 W x 24.3078 H centimeters and weighs 0.041 kilograms.

Questions about this item

Will the wax core stay firm and mark cleanly after hours of continuous use on a hot job site?

The durable wax core resists snapping or becoming brittle, and the smudge-resistant marks endure in tough conditions including heat and moisture.

What surfaces or tools do I need to have on hand before these pencils will work?

No sharpener or special surface is required — the built-in pull string peels the wrapper to expose fresh wax, and the pencils mark on metal, drywall, glass, wood, concrete and most other porous or non-porous materials.

Can I use these on older silicone-sealed joints or silicone-coated panels I already have?

The manufacturer notes the pencils do not work well on silicone surfaces, so marks on silicone-sealed joints or silicone-coated panels will not adhere properly.
