Industrial Media Converter

The Transition Networks SISTG1014-211-LRT-B is an industrial media converter designed to bridge copper and fibre networks. It accepts a small form-factor pluggable transceiver for flexible fibre connectivity. The unit carries UL Class 1 Division 2 approval for hazardous environments and meets CISPR/EN55022 Class A, FCC Class A and CE Mark requirements.

Installers in Harsh Environments

This converter suits engineers deploying network links in industrial settings with extreme temperatures or hazardous-area ratings. It is not intended for office-grade installations that lack DIN rail mounting or extended-temperature operation. Buyers needing managed switching features or Power over Ethernet injection should consider a different product class.

Copper-to-Fibre Bridge with SFP Slot

The decisive specification is the 10/100/1000BASE-T to 100/1000BASE-X media conversion via an SFP transceiver slot. This single interface combination determines whether the converter matches the required copper speed and fibre uplink for a given industrial network segment.
