Outdoor dimmer plug with remote

The TreatLife CA-DP10R is a non-smart outdoor dimmer plug that pairs with an included wireless remote. It controls dimmable LED bulbs up to 150W, incandescent bulbs up to 400W, and halogen bulbs up to 150W. The plug resets when power is cut and offers no Wi-Fi, app, or timer functions. It suits users who want simple remote dimming for string lights or lamps.

100FT range and IP44 limits

The remote works up to 100FT in open outdoor areas and supports pairing with up to 8 remotes. The IP44 rating protects against splashing water, and the manufacturer recommends mounting the plug about 50 inches high with the socket facing down. It is not compatible with 0-10V low-voltage systems, motorized devices, transformers, fans, or smart lights using Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.

400W maximum load decides fit

The single specification that determines suitability is the 400W maximum power rating for incandescent loads, with lower 150W limits for dimmable LED and halogen bulbs. Exceeding these limits will cause the device to fail. Buyers needing higher wattage, smart scheduling, voice control, or compatibility with motorized or transformer-based loads should choose a different product.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the version with or without the wireless remote?

This model includes one wireless remote controller in the box, so there is no separate version to choose.

What does the 400W maximum power mean for my string lights?

You can run incandescent loads up to 400W, while dimmable LED and halogen bulbs are limited to 150W each.

How far does the remote signal reach and what limits it?

The remote works up to 100FT in open outdoor areas; walls or obstacles will reduce the effective range.
