Controls two computers across three monitors at up to 8K 60 Hz and shares four USB 3.0 ports
This TRENDnet KVM switch connects two computers to three displays, supporting both extended and mirrored desktop modes. It provides four USB 3.0 ports that share keyboards, mice, printers or storage between the two systems. A wired remote and front-panel buttons give instant PC switching with LED indication. The unit includes all required cables and a 12 V power adapter.
Suits users who need a single keyboard, mouse and USB peripheral set across three monitors driven by two separate computers. Driver-free operation covers Windows, macOS, Linux and Unix platforms. Not for buyers who only have HDMI outputs on both PCs, because each system must supply one HDMI and two DisplayPort connections simultaneously. Also unsuitable for anyone requiring more than two computer ports.
The switch handles video up to 7680×4320 at 60 Hz and 3840×2160 at 144 Hz, with backward compatibility for lower resolutions. Actual output depends on the graphics cards, monitors and cables used. USB 3.0 ports deliver 5 Gbps data throughput for connected peripherals.

The unit measures 14.33 inches wide, 12.83 inches high and 9.06 inches deep, so allow at least that footprint plus cable bend radius on the rear HDMI, DisplayPort and USB connectors.
Connect the HDMI cable first, then the two DisplayPort cables, then the USB 3.0 cable; power the KVM with the 12 V adapter before turning on the PCs, otherwise the EDID handshake can fail on the third monitor.
The 12 V power adapter is the most likely component to wear out; the wired remote is passive and rarely fails, but neither spare part number is published by the manufacturer.
