This TRENDnet PW-S7238P-11 connects two computers to one DisplayPort monitor and three USB 3.0 peripherals. It suits users who need to share a keyboard, mouse and storage between a pair of PCs or laptops without unplugging cables. Switching is handled by a wired remote or the front push buttons. No software or extra power supply is required.

8K@60Hz maximum resolution

The switch passes DisplayPort 1.4 signals up to 7680x4320 at 60 Hz and is backward compatible with 4K at 144 Hz, 240 Hz and lower refresh rates. Full 8K performance only occurs when both source graphics cards, the monitor and the cables support that mode. Hotkey switching is not available.

Passive operation with brief blanking

The unit draws power from the connected computers and has no fan, so it runs silently. When switching inputs the screen goes black for roughly three to seven seconds depending on the active resolution and display response time. EDID adaptation is automatic for stable handshake.
