Six-port multi-gig switch

The TRENDnet TEG-S762 is a 6-port multi-gig switch designed for networks that need 10 gigabit and 2.5 gigabit wired connections. It delivers a 60Gbps switching capacity in a compact metal housing with a fanless design for silent operation.

Suits small offices needing 10G uplinks

This switch suits installers who need two 10G RJ-45 ports for high-speed uplinks plus four 2.5G ports for workstations or access points over existing Cat5e cabling. It is not for buyers who require PoE power delivery or fibre SFP+ slots.

Fits rack or wall mounts

The sturdy metal enclosure supports wall mounting and desktop placement, freeing up rack space in tight cabinets. It requires only a standard power outlet and Ethernet cables to integrate into an existing wired network backbone.

Questions about this item

What cabling do I need to use the four 2.5G RJ-45 ports at full speed?

The four 2.5GBASE-T RJ-45 ports deliver up to 2.5Gbps over existing Cat5e or better cabling.

Will the two 10G RJ-45 ports link with my existing 1G and 2.5G devices?

The 10G RJ-45 ports negotiate speed with connected equipment, so 1G and 2.5G devices will link at their highest common rate.

Which LED shows the 60Gbps switching fabric is active after I power on the TEG-S762?

The front-panel port LEDs light for link and blink for activity on each 10G and 2.5G port, confirming the 60Gbps fabric is passing traffic.
