Two-computer HDMI control

The TRENDnet TK-215i is a two-port HDMI KVM switch that lets you operate two computers from a single USB keyboard, USB mouse and HDMI monitor. It draws power from the connected computers so no external power adapter is needed. Integrated cables reduce desktop clutter and the unit is ready to use without driver installation on Windows or Mac systems.

Full HD 1080p capacity and audio

Video runs at 1920 x 1080 resolution at 60 Hz, which is suitable for office work, web browsing and general multimedia. The switch also passes 5.1 channel audio over the HDMI connection and provides separate 3.5 mm speaker and microphone jacks for analogue audio. Users who need higher resolutions, higher refresh rates or more than two computer ports will need a different solution.

HDMI 1.3 and USB 2.0 interface limits

The console monitor port and both computer video ports use HDMI 1.3, so the link is limited to the bandwidth and feature set of that standard. Keyboard and mouse traffic travels over USB 2.0 type A connections, which caps peripheral throughput accordingly. The integrated computer cables are 85 cm long and the remote toggle switch cable is 150 cm, setting the maximum placement distance between the switch and each computer.
