Connects two computers to one DisplayPort monitor, keyboard and mouse at 3840 x 2160 60 Hz with integrated cables and 3.5 mm audio switching
The TRENDnet TK-220DPI is a 2-port KVM switch that lets one user control two computers from a single DisplayPort 1.2 console. It supports 3840 x 2160 resolution at 60 Hz and includes integrated cables for a tidy desktop setup. The unit also passes 3.5 mm speaker and microphone audio alongside USB 2.0 peripheral sharing.
Before ordering, verify that each computer provides a DisplayPort 1.2 output and a free USB 2.0 port for the integrated cables. The switch requires three DisplayPort connectors per system — two for video and one for the KVM link — so confirm your graphics cards have enough native ports or suitable adapters. Ensure your monitor accepts 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz over DisplayPort.
The TK-220DPI operates without fans, so it adds no audible noise to the workspace. Power is drawn from the connected computers through the USB 2.0 links, eliminating the need for an external power adapter. In normal use the switch runs cool and maintains stable 4K 60 Hz video switching between the two attached systems.

The switch ships with integrated cables for both computers, so no separate DisplayPort or USB cables are required.
This model supports exactly two computers and one local user; if you need to control more than two systems, a different switch with additional ports is required.
It means the switch can pass a 4K UHD signal at 60 Hz from either computer to the display without reducing resolution or refresh rate.
