Compact 12 W Bluetooth speaker

The Tribit StormBox Mini+ BTS33 is a portable Bluetooth speaker that delivers 12 W of active 2.0 stereo output through two 48 mm full-range drivers and a passive radiator. It supports Bluetooth 5.4 with AAC and SBC decoding and offers a wireless range of up to 30 metres. An IPX7 rating makes it waterproof and dustproof, while a built-in microphone enables hands-free calls.

For app-driven sound tuning and stereo pairing

The speaker suits listeners who want customisable EQ, five preset sound modes and the option to pair two units for true wireless stereo using the Tribit App. It also provides a 3.5 mm AUX input for wired sources. Buyers who need voice-assistant integration, multi-room audio protocols or a larger driver array for deeper bass extension should consider other options.

Simple wireless setup with app control

Pairing is handled through standard Bluetooth 5.4 discovery and the Tribit App guides EQ adjustments and stereo pairing without extra hardware. The most common issue is forgetting to enable the AUX source manually when switching from Bluetooth, which mutes playback until the correct input is selected. The IPX7 seal remains effective only if the port cover is fully closed after each use.

Questions about this item

Does this speaker need a Bluetooth 5.4 source to work?

It pairs with any Bluetooth device; Bluetooth 5.4 simply extends range to 30 meters and adds AAC decoding.

Can I keep using my old 3.5 mm cable with the StormBox Mini+?

Yes, the built-in AUX input accepts a standard 3.5 mm cable for wired playback.

How do I confirm the 360° stereo effect is active after pairing?

Play audio and walk around the speaker; the left-right driver layout should sound even from every angle.
