Paint Strainer Bag for One-Gallon Cans

Trimaco 11511 paint strainer bags fit one-gallon paint cans with a ten-inch width and an elastic top. Each bag uses polyester mesh rated at 600 microns to remove debris from paints and stains. The package contains twenty-five disposable bags for repeated jobs.

Replaces Loose Filters and Cone Strainers

These bags replace loose mesh filters and cone strainers that can slip inside the can. The elastic top grips the rim so the bag stays in place while pouring. The switch is worth it when you want faster cleanup and consistent filtration without holding a separate strainer.

Check Can Diameter and Mesh Needs

Verify your paint can has a twenty-inch outside diameter so the elastic top seals correctly. Confirm that 600-micron mesh suits the coating you plan to spray or roll. The bags are single-use, so order enough packs to cover the full project.

Questions about this item

Will the 20 in elastic top stretch over a standard 1 gal paint can?

Yes, the bag has an inside and outside diameter of 20 in with an elastic top designed for 1 gal paint cans.

How do I install the strainer bag so paint does not bypass the 600 micron mesh?

Stretch the elastic opening fully over the can rim and smooth the bag down the sides so all liquid passes through the polyester mesh.

When should I replace a bag from the 25 pack during a job?

Replace it when the 600 micron mesh clogs and flow slows, or when switching between different paints or stains.
