TRIMACO 31101 Paint Strainer Bag 12in 250 micron

The TRIMACO 31101 is a disposable polyester mesh bag designed to filter paint and stain before application. It fits one-gallon cans with a 20-inch inside diameter and measures 12 inches long by 10 1/8 inches wide. Painters and DIY users rely on it to remove clumps and debris for a smoother finish.

25-pack bulk supply for repeated jobs

Each package contains 25 white strainer bags, providing enough stock for multiple projects or a full crew. The plain-top design slips over the bucket rim without elastic or drawstrings, making changeover quick between colours. Bulk quantity reduces reorder frequency for high-volume users.

250-micron mesh filters fine particles

The 250-micron openings catch fine sediment while allowing thinned coatings to flow through. It handles standard latex, oil-based paints and stains in one-gallon containers. Very thick textures or high-solids industrial coatings may clog the mesh or require a coarser filter not included here.

Questions about this item

How often will I need to replace the 250 micron polyester mesh bags during a project?

Each bag is designed for single use; the pack of 25 lets you swap a fresh strainer whenever the mesh loads with debris.

What limits how long a single bag can strain before it clogs?

The 250 micron mesh opening size determines particle capture; finer coatings or heavy sediment will fill the mesh faster and end the bag's useful life.

Do the bags add noticeable heat or noise when used continuously all day?

The passive polyester mesh adds no heat or noise; it simply sits in a 1 gal can while you pour or dip.
