5-Gallon Paint Strainer Bags for Professional

These 250-micron polyester mesh bags fit 5-gallon buckets with a 35-inch inside diameter. They remove debris from paints and stains to deliver a smooth, consistent application. The pack contains 25 white bags suited for contractors and serious DIYers preparing large volumes of coating.

Simple Drop-In Installation with a Plain Top Design

Each 20-inch by 17-1/2-inch bag drops straight into a compatible bucket without elastic or drawstrings to secure. The plain top rests on the rim, so the bag can shift if the bucket is moved while full. Users should hold the bag in place during the first pour to prevent it from collapsing into the liquid.

25-Pack Capacity Handles Multiple Large Jobs

A single package supplies enough strainers for repeated 5-gallon batches across a project or crew. The 250-micron mesh handles standard architectural paints and stains but will clog quickly with heavy-bodied textured coatings or thick epoxy resins. Very fine metallic flakes may also pass through the mesh openings.

Questions about this item

How do I know the 250 micron mesh is filtering properly after I fit the bag over a 5 gal bucket?

When the polyester mesh bag is stretched over the 35 in diameter bucket, paint should flow through while debris stays inside the bag; a clean pour with no clogging means the 250 micron filtration is working.

The pack says 25 bags — does that include any bucket adapters or elastic rings, or do I need to buy those separately?

The package contains only 25 white polyester mesh strainer bags measuring 20 in by 17-1/2 in with a plain top; no adapters, rings or extra hardware are included.

I see the product code 31105 — are there other micron sizes or pack counts under the same code, or is this the only version?

Code 31105 identifies this single configuration: 250 micron mesh, 25 bags per pack, 17-1/2 in width for 5 gal buckets; no other micron ratings or quantities share this code.
