100G OM4 12-Fiber MPO Cable

This 5-metre multimode patch cord carries 100G Ethernet over twelve 50/125-micron OM4 fibers. MPO connectors on both ends use Type-B polarity for direct trunk or cassette connections. The aqua jacket identifies OM4 grade at a glance. It suits data-centre links that need high-density 100G throughput.

OFNP Plenum Rating and TAA Compliance

The OFNP-rated jacket meets plenum fire-safety requirements for in-duct routing. TAA compliance qualifies the cable for federal procurement contracts. Standard PC polish on the MPO ferrules keeps insertion loss low for typical patch-panel distances.

Questions about this item

How do I connect the 12-fiber MPO connectors to my 100G transceiver ports?

Align the key on each MPO connector with the transceiver keyway, push straight in until the latch clicks, and verify the Type-B polarity matches your link design.

When should I replace this OM4 cable?

Replace it if insertion loss exceeds your link budget, if the aqua jacket shows cracks or kinks, or if the MPO ferrules are scratched after cleaning.
