Tripp Lite 100G OM4 12F MPO/MPO-PC 2m Aqua TAA

SKU CH-YRM5-24V38

A 12-fibre OM4 multimode cable with MPO connectors for 100G links, 2 metres long and TAA compliant

  • Supports 100G speeds over 50/125 OM4 multimode fibre
  • 12-fibre MPO/MPO-PC connectors enable high-density patching
  • 2 m aqua jacket simplifies cable identification in racks
  • OFNP plenum rating allows installation in air-handling spaces
  • TAA compliant for government procurement requirements

Cable type and application

This 2 m aqua multimode cable uses 12 fibres in an MPO/MPO-PC configuration with Type-A polarity. It is rated for OFNP plenum spaces and carries TAA compliance for government procurement. The 50/125 µm OM4 glass supports 100G Ethernet links over short reach.

Suitable environments and limits

Installers working in plenum-rated pathways and federal projects needing TAA documentation will find the OFNP jacket and compliance markings appropriate. Buyers who need single-mode fibre, a different polarity method, or a non-plenum riser jacket should select another product.

Deciding specification

The 12-fibre MPO/MPO-PC connector arrangement with Type-A polarity determines whether this cable matches the transceiver and patch-panel layout in your 100G OM4 deployment.

Questions about this item

What transceiver speed and connector type do I need to use this 12-fiber MPO cable?

This cable is built for 100G multimode links and has MPO/MPO-PC connectors on both ends with Type-A polarity.

Can I keep my existing OM3 patch panels and still use this OM4 cable?

OM4 50/125 fiber shares the same core size as OM3, so it will physically connect to OM3 panels and transceivers.

How can I verify the link is operating at the rated 100G performance after installation?

Use an optical power meter or the transceiver DDM readings to confirm insertion loss is within OM4 limits for the 2 metre length.
