Ultra-compact line-interactive UPS corrects brownouts and overvoltages from 159 V to 282 V, delivers 750 VA and 450 W through six C13 outlets, and adds USB plus TEL/DSL protection
The Tripp Lite AVRX750U is a line-interactive uninterruptible power supply rated at 750 VA and 450 W. It provides battery backup and automatic voltage regulation for desktop computers, networking gear and home-office electronics. The unit corrects brownouts and overvoltages across a 159 V to 282 V input range without using battery power. Six C13 outlets and a C14 inlet connect protected equipment.
This UPS replaces a simple power strip by adding battery runtime and voltage regulation. The jump is worthwhile when brief outages or unstable mains voltage would otherwise cause data loss or hardware stress. It supplies 10 minutes of backup at half load (375 W) and 3 minutes at full load (450 W), giving time to save work and shut down safely. USB connectivity enables automated shutdown via included PowerAlert software.
The 450 W rating comfortably handles a typical PC, monitor and router combination. At half load the internal VRLA battery sustains output for 0.28 hour, while full load lasts 0.08 hour. Recharge takes less than 27 hours after a discharge event. The unit does not support extended runtime modules, so loads requiring longer backup will need a higher-capacity UPS. Surge-only outlets protect peripherals without consuming battery reserve.

The unit is designed for desktop or tower placement and uses a C14 inlet with six C13 outlets, so it sits on a shelf without special brackets.
Connect the supplied USB cable, install the included PowerAlert software, then register the UPS in the software before the first self-test runs.
Expect a service life of three to five years; the battery recharges in under 27 hours after a discharge cycle.
