Four-Port HDMI KVM Switch for Multi-Computer Control

The Tripp Lite B005-HUA4 lets a single HDMI monitor, USB keyboard and mouse manage four HDMI-enabled computers or media devices. It supports true 4K resolution at 60 Hz with HDR and HDCP 2.2 pass-through. Front push buttons, hotkeys, mouse gestures and the included IR remote provide instant switching between connected sources.

Connectivity and Shared Peripherals

Each computer connects through one HDMI cable and one USB 3.0 Type-B cable; the console side uses one HDMI output and two USB 3.0 Type-A ports plus two USB 2.0 Type-A ports for shared peripherals. An external 5 V 3 A power adapter is included, and mounting brackets allow rack or surface installation. Audio switching is handled via 3.5 mm jacks on both the computer and console sides.

Replaces Separate Keyboards, Mice and Monitor Inputs

This switch removes the need for four separate keyboard-and-mouse sets and frees monitor inputs for other uses. It is not suited for users who require DisplayPort or USB-C video inputs, or for setups needing more than four computer connections. The jump is worthwhile when desk space is limited and 4K 60 Hz HDR fidelity must be maintained across all sources.
