Tripp Lite B021-000-19-HD2 19" LCD 1080p Rack Console KVM Switch

1U Rack Console KVM Switch

The Tripp Lite B021-000-19-HD2 integrates a 19-inch 1080p LCD, full keyboard, numeric keypad and touchpad into a single 1U sliding drawer. It mounts in standard EIA 19-inch racks for environments where rack space is limited. The unit connects to a server or KVM switch via DVI-I video and USB keyboard/mouse ports. No server-resident software is required for operation.

Thermals, Noise and Power Draw

The console operates within a temperature range of 32 to 104 F (0 to 40 C) at an input frequency of 50/60 Hz. Its all-metal construction passively dissipates heat from the LCD and electronics without active cooling fans. Power consumption remains low during typical monitoring and administration tasks. The sliding drawer design keeps the unit closed when not in use, reducing unnecessary power draw.

Sustained Load Behaviour

Under continuous use the LCD maintains 1920 x 1080 resolution without software overhead on the connected server. The DVI-I port handles both digital and analog signals through the included DVI-to-VGA adapter. Mechanical slide rails and the flip-up display are rated for repeated daily cycling in data-centre conditions. The 1U form factor ensures consistent fit in 2- and 4-post racks over long deployments.
