4x4 HDMI matrix switch

The Tripp Lite B119-4X4-MV routes any of four HDMI sources to any of four displays independently. It supports 3840 x 2160 resolution and 4K UHD signals for Blu-ray players, gaming consoles, projectors and monitors. Control rooms, classrooms and digital signage installations can manage multiple sources from a single unit.

Seamless switching with quad-view monitoring

Switching between sources occurs without visible interruption, maintaining continuous video across all connected displays. Built-in scaling adapts incoming signals to the native resolution of each output. Quad-view mode lets operators monitor all four sources simultaneously on one screen for security or operational oversight.

Front-panel buttons with RS-232 and IR control

Push buttons on the front provide immediate source and display selection without external hardware. An included IR remote allows wireless operation from a distance. RS-232 serial integration enables automated control from third-party systems in professional AV environments.

Questions about this item

How much power does the B119-4X4-MV draw when running all day?

The unit ships with an external 119 V power supply; no internal fan is fitted, so heat output stays low during continuous operation.

Which cables and sources must I already own to use the 4x4 matrix?

You need up to four HDMI source devices — such as a Blu-ray player, gaming console or PC — plus four HDMI displays and the HDMI cables to connect them.

Will the switch pass 1080p signals to my older 1080p monitors without downscaling the 4K sources?

Built-in scaling lets each output run at its native resolution, so a 3840 x 2160 source can be viewed on a 1080p display while other outputs keep 4K.
