Mobile Charging Cart for 27 Devices

The Tripp Lite CSC27AC is a mobile charging cart that holds and powers up to 27 Chromebooks, laptops or tablets with screens up to 15 inches. It supplies AC power through 27 internal NEMA 5-15R outlets rated at 12 amps total. A locking steel enclosure with powder-coated finish secures devices and adapters in separate compartments. Flow-through ventilation helps prevent overheating during charging cycles.

Check Power and Space Before Ordering

Verify the installation site has a 120 VAC, 60 Hz supply and a NEMA 5-15P receptacle for the 10-foot input cord. Confirm the cart can pass through doorways and aisles to reach each room where devices are used. Ensure the total connected load does not exceed the 12-amp circuit breaker built into the unit. The integrated RJ45 jack requires an Ethernet drop if network connectivity for peripherals is desired.

Replaces Fixed Wall Cabinets and Power Strips

This cart replaces stationary charging cabinets or multiple power strips when devices must move between classrooms, offices or wards. The upgrade is worth it when secure, lockable storage and single-cord deployment are needed for 27 devices at once. It is not suited for environments that require simultaneous charging of more than 27 units or devices with screens larger than 15 inches.

Questions about this item

What does the package include and do I need to supply any cables or adapters?

The cart ships with 27 internal NEMA 5-15R outlets, a 10 ft input cord with a NEMA 5-15P plug, and two keys for the locking doors. You must provide the AC adapter for each device you intend to charge.

Which capacity should I choose if I need to charge 27 Chromebooks with 15-inch screens?

This model provides exactly 27 charging ports rated at 12 A total, and the shelves fit devices with screens up to 15 in. Choose it when you need to charge and store 27 units simultaneously.

What does the 12 A rating mean when the cart is fully loaded in a classroom?

The 12 A rating is the total current available across all 27 outlets from a 120 V, 60 Hz supply. The built-in circuit breaker will trip if the combined draw of all connected adapters exceeds 12 A.
