Product Type and Audience

This Tripp Lite power cord connects devices with a 2-slot IEC320 C7 inlet to a standard NEMA 1-15P wall outlet. The 10 ft 18 AWG cable features a 90-degree angled plug that sits flush against the wall in tight spaces. It is rated for 7A at 125V and 2.5A at 250V and carries UL and CSA certifications for safety.

Who It Suits and Who It Does Not

The cord fits many Samsung and LG televisions, Canon PIXMA printers, Sony PlayStation consoles, Xbox models and powered speakers that use the figure-8 connector. Buyers whose equipment requires a three-prong grounded inlet, a polarised blade layout or a higher amperage rating should look at a different cable.

Deciding Specification

The critical detail is the non-polarised IEC320 C7 female connector paired with a NEMA 1-15P male plug. Only devices built for that exact two-prong figure-8 inlet will work with this cord.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and do I need to buy anything else to use this cord?

The package contains one 10 ft angled power cord with an IEC320 C7 figure-8 female connector and a NEMA 1-15P male plug. No additional parts are required; it plugs directly into a compatible device and a standard North American wall outlet.

Which version should I choose for a device that uses a 2-slot figure-8 port?

This single model is a non-polarised 2-slot IEC320 C7 to NEMA 1-15P cord rated 7 A at 125 V and 2.5 A at 250 V, built with 18 AWG conductors and a 90-degree angled plug for tight spaces.

What does the 10 ft length mean when the cord is routed behind a TV or desk?

The 10 ft length gives roughly 3 metres of reach from the wall outlet to the device, while the 90-degree angled plug sits flush against the wall so furniture can be placed close without bending the cable.
