SKU CH-DXZF-QFYM7

A modular RJ-45 insert for 110 punch-down Cat6 or Cat5e keystone installations in yellow

  • Supports Cat6 and Cat5e networks with 110 punch-down termination
  • Yellow colour coding simplifies port identification in dense panels
  • Standard keystone footprint fits most wall plates and patch panels
  • Modular RJ-45 insert enables quick snap-in installation

Cat6/Cat5e keystone jack for patch panels

This yellow modular insert fits standard keystone wall plates and patch panels. It accepts both Cat6 and Cat5e solid or stranded conductors. The 110 punch-down termination provides a secure gas-tight connection for structured wiring projects. Installers can terminate cables quickly with a standard punch-down tool.

110 punch-down termination decides compatibility

The jack uses 110-style IDC contacts rather than Krone or toolless designs. Buyers whose existing patch panels or faceplates require a different termination style cannot use this insert. It is also not suited for field-termination plugs that expect a different contact geometry.

Questions about this item

What does the Cat6/Cat5e rating mean when this jack is installed in a patch panel?

The jack supports both Cat6 and Cat5e performance levels, so it will pass the relevant channel tests for either standard once terminated.

How does the 110 punch-down interface limit what cables can be used?

The 110 IDC slots require a punch-down tool and are designed for solid-conductor cable; stranded patch cords should not be terminated directly.
