This 10 metre OM4 multimode fibre patch cable uses 50/125 µm duplex construction with LC duplex connectors on each end. It is built for 10 Gb, 40 Gb and 100 Gb serial transmission in LAN, SAN and data-centre interconnects. The magenta jacket provides instant OM4 identification in dense patch panels.

OM4 reach and bandwidth limits

OM4 multimode fibre supports 10 Gb serial links up to 400 m at 850 nm, but reach drops at higher lane rates such as 40 Gb and 100 Gb parallel optics. The cable is rated for operating and storage temperatures from -20 °C to 60 °C. It does not suit single-mode applications or links that exceed the OM4 modal bandwidth envelope.
