Threaded hole hardware kit

The Tripp Lite SRSCREWS kit supplies 50 black #12-24 screws designed to fasten equipment to threaded hole rack mount rails. It is intended for installers who need a ready supply of standard rack-mount fasteners for server or network hardware.

Compatibility with #12-24 racks

The screws work with any rack that uses #12-24 threaded holes, removing the need to source matching hardware separately. Having the correct thread on hand avoids stripped rails and loose equipment during installation or relocation.

Capacity of 50 screws

A pack of 50 covers multiple full-height devices or several smaller units in a single deployment. Very large builds or sites with many racks will require additional packs to complete the job.

Questions about this item

Will the #12-24 screws need periodic replacement or tightening over time?

The black #12-24 screws are designed for permanent rack mounting and do not require scheduled replacement or retightening under normal use.

What limits how many devices I can secure with the 50-screw kit?

Each piece of equipment typically uses four #12-24 screws, so the 50-screw kit supports up to 12 devices with two screws left over.

Do the screws generate any heat or noise when installed in a rack running continuously?

The screws are passive metal fasteners; they produce no heat, noise or power draw once the equipment is mounted.
