What this charger delivers

The Tripp Lite U280-010-ST6C4A is a 120-watt desktop charging station with ten ports, six USB-C and four USB-A, designed to power multiple mobile devices at once. It accepts a wide range of AC inputs from 100 to 240 volts and includes a 3.94-foot cable for flexible placement. No computer connection is required, so it works straight from any standard wall outlet.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Households, classrooms, clinics and retail counters that need to keep phones, tablets, e-readers or point-of-sale terminals charged simultaneously will find the port count and total power useful. Buyers who need to fast-charge larger laptops or run many high-draw devices at their maximum rates should consider a higher-wattage solution with fewer ports.

The spec that decides fit

The charger shares 120 watts across all ten ports, with each USB-C port limited to 30 watts and each USB-A port limited to 18 watts. If the combined draw of your devices stays within that budget, the station will handle them; if you need more per-port or total power, this model will not meet the requirement.

Questions about this item

What type of wall outlet does the U280-010-ST6C4A plug into?

It connects to a standard North America AC outlet using its 3.94 ft attached cable and accepts input voltages from 100 V to 240 V AC.

Can the charger run a USB-A device that only draws 5 V while a USB-C laptop pulls 20 V at the same time?

Yes, each of the 4 USB-A ports delivers up to 18 W at 5 V while the 6 USB-C ports can supply 5 V, 9 V, 12 V, 15 V or 20 V up to 30 W each, all within the 120 W total budget.

How do I confirm the station is delivering power to every connected device?

Plug in up to 10 devices; each port will begin charging immediately — USB-C devices negotiate up to 30 W and USB-A devices up to 18 W — and the unit’s internal protections guard against over-current and overheating.
