The link follows the HDMI 2.0 standard, so 3840 x 2160 resolution is delivered at 60 Hz with 4:2:2 chroma subsampling. Deep Colour up to 36-bit and HDR metadata are supported within that bandwidth. HDCP 2.2 content protection is also carried. Higher refresh rates or 4:4:4 sampling at 4K exceed the interface capacity and are not possible.

The fibre construction reliably transports 4K 60 Hz HDR signals across the full 164 foot span without signal boosters. It handles 36-bit colour depth and both 4:2:0 and 4:2:2 sampling comfortably. The 50 metre length is the fixed maximum; longer runs would require a different solution. Applications needing 4:4:4 chroma or frame rates above 60 Hz fall outside the cable's capability.
