Tripp Lite Universal RJ45 Plug Locks Yellow 10 Pack N2LOCK010YW

Physical Security for Network Ports

These yellow RJ45 plug locks secure Ethernet cables against accidental or unauthorised disconnection. The ten-piece pack suits IT teams managing patch panels, wall plates or switch ports in offices, classrooms or data centres. Bright colour aids quick visual verification during audits. Installation requires no tools and works with standard RJ45 connectors.

Simple Addition to Existing Cabling

Each lock slides over the plug latch before the cable is seated, then snaps into place to prevent the tab from being depressed. No rewiring, adapters or port modifications are needed. The locks free administrators from chasing down loose connections caused by cleaning crews, foot traffic or vibration. They remain compatible with Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6a patch cords.

Durable Under Daily Handling

Moulded polymer construction resists cracking when cables are routed through tight trays or repositioned during rack maintenance. The latch mechanism holds firm through repeated insert-and-release cycles without deforming. Yellow pigment is moulded throughout, so scuffs do not reveal a contrasting base colour. The pack provides enough units for a typical rack row or small floor deployment.
