Finished-bore steel sprocket with 13 teeth for 40 chain, 1 in bore, keyway and set screws included
This TRITAN sprocket is a finished-bore power-transmission component designed for single-strand 40 chain with a half-inch pitch. It has 13 teeth, a 1-inch bore with a keyway, and a black-oxide steel finish. Two set screws are included for secure shaft mounting.
The 1-inch bore with a quarter-inch wide by one-eighth-inch deep keyway suits shafts that require positive drive location. Builders using a different bore size, a different chain pitch, or a multi-strand chain will need a different sprocket.
With a 2.33-inch outside diameter and 2.089-inch pitch diameter, the sprocket provides standard engagement for 40 chain. The hub projects 0.591 inches and measures 1 9/16 inches across, limiting use where a longer through-bore or larger hub is required.

The sprocket is made for 1/2 in pitch chain, designated as chain number 40, and fits a single-strand roller chain.
The fixed bore measures 1 in, the keyway is 1/4 in wide and 1/8 in deep, and two set screws are included for locking to the shaft.
Measure the outside diameter at 2.33 in, verify the hub projection is 0.591 in, and check that both set screws engage the keyway and shaft securely.
