Steel sprocket for 40 chain with 24 teeth, 1 1/8 inch bore, keyway and set screws
This 40-series sprocket is built for power-transmission systems that use single-strand roller chain with a 1/2-inch pitch. The 24-tooth steel body suits machinery where a fixed-bore component is preferred over a bushed or taper-lock alternative.
The 1 1/8-inch finished bore includes a 1/4-inch wide by 1/8-inch deep keyway plus two set screws, so the shaft must match that exact diameter and key profile. No adapter or re-bore is possible because the hub is a one-side fixed design with a 3 3/4-inch diameter.
With 24 teeth the sprocket delivers a 3.831-inch pitch diameter and a 4.1-inch outside diameter, fixing the speed ratio and chain wrap for the drive. A different tooth count would change both diameters and the resulting ratio.

The 24-tooth sprocket gives a 3.831 in pitch diameter and 4.1 in outside diameter; select it when those dimensions match your drive ratio and clearance.
It is the effective diameter where the 40 chain engages, so chain speed equals shaft RPM multiplied by 3.831 in divided by 2.
It fits only a 1 1/8 in shaft, transmits torque through the 1/4 in keyway, and the two set screws lock axial position.
