An 18-tooth steel chain sprocket with a 3/4 inch finished bore, keyway and set screws for single-strand 41 pitch chain
This 18-tooth roller chain sprocket is designed for single-strand 41-series chain with a 1/2 inch pitch. The finished 3/4 inch bore includes a 3/16 inch keyway and two set screws for positive shaft location. Black oxide finish protects the steel body against corrosion in industrial or vintage machinery applications.
The sprocket maintains consistent engagement under continuous rotation because the 2.879 inch pitch diameter and 3.14 inch outside diameter are machined to standard 41-chain tolerances. Hardened steel teeth resist wear when the drive runs at constant speed, while the 2 3/8 inch hub diameter distributes torque evenly through the 1 inch length through bore without flex.
The fixed bore with integrated keyway eliminates the need for separate bushings or adapters; simply slide the sprocket onto a 3/4 inch keyed shaft and tighten the two included set screws. Alignment errors are the most common issue — verify that the chain runs true on the 18 teeth before final tightening to avoid premature wear or noise.

The steel sprocket with black-oxide finish transfers heat through the hub; temperature rise depends on chain speed, load and lubrication rather than the sprocket itself.
You need a 3/4 in diameter shaft and a 3/16 in square key; the sprocket includes two set screws for axial locking.
Yes — it is cut for 1/2 in pitch, single-strand 41 chain, so it matches existing 41-series chain and other 41 sprockets.
