A 12-tooth steel sprocket with a 1 1/4 inch bore, keyway, and set screws for 50 chain
The Tritan 50BS12H is a finished-bore sprocket designed for single-strand #50 roller chain with a 5/8 in pitch. It suits maintenance teams and equipment builders who need a direct replacement on shafts measuring 1 1/4 in diameter.
The steel body carries a black oxide coating that resists corrosion in typical industrial environments. Two set screws and a 1/4 in wide by 1/8 in deep keyway lock the sprocket to the shaft, while the 1 in length through bore keeps the assembly compact.
The one-sided hub measures 2 in diameter and projects 0.657 in, providing a stable mount for sustained duty cycles. With a 2.71 in outside diameter and 2.415 in pitch diameter, the 12-tooth profile maintains consistent engagement without the vibration that can appear on smaller tooth counts under load.

Slide the sprocket onto the shaft so the 1/4 in wide by 1/8 in deep keyway engages the shaft key, then tighten both set screws against the key and shaft to lock the 1 in length through bore in place.
Inspect the 12 teeth for hook wear and the 2.71 in outside diameter for elongation; replace the sprocket when tooth profiles no longer mesh cleanly with the 5/8 in pitch chain.
Centrifugal force on the 2 in hub and 0.657 in projection grows with rpm, so the hub-to-shaft fit and key shear stress become the limiting factors before tooth wear.
